Instinct

The love for someone or something.

By Bob nemoPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Why do we love?

Is there a thing we need?

Or are we just selfish?

I used to one,

One of those.

The people that go around,

Walking really slow.

I would be the one to stare at you and think,

“How could I possibly like her?”

Time has passed and faces are now lost,

People are nice now,

Everyone is too nice.

Except for you,

The one I loved from the beginning,

The one I care for.

Bryn, the one I truly like.

I stare at you and I think how can I like you?

You are just too perfect.

Although we are all human,

And we all need compassion

And love

I was going too far.

For you didn't like me,

Not one bit.

You didn't like anyone.

Expect our friends.

Now I see,

How much of a fool I can be.

Loving a girl that doesn't love me,

It's more than just a memory.
