Inner Child is Healthy and Happy

A life of awareness, discipline, and mindfulness

By Seema PatelPublished 7 months ago 1 min read
Me and tumbleweed @Seema

If you ask me,

what would you prefer,

if I offer?

Attending a pop concert/ cricket match

or sitting near the tumbleweed under the sycamore?

Tumbleweed.

Cake or celery?

Celery.

Cosmetics from a famous brand

or sunshine?

Sunshine.

Fancy gym membership,

or digging the compost pile?

Digging the compost pile.

Piles of gold,

or the fallen yellow leaves?

The autumn leaves.

@Seema

You see the replies,

and that makes my inner child,

so happy and healthy.

If we live in alignment,

with nature, appreciating it,

focusing on simple things,

nobody can take away,

our happiness and health.

Over-consumption often brings,

despair, downfall and diseases.

Our choices pave the path,

of our life trajectory.

So, live with awareness,

discipline, and mindfulness.

The most sophisticated people I’ve ever known had one thing in common: they were all in touch with their inner children. – Jim Henson
