From depths of emerald, where waters embrace the sky,

A phoenix rose, with spirit soaring high.

Indonesia, a tapestry woven with grace,

Unfurled its wings, in freedom's embrace.

Centuries of slumber, under colonial night,

A people yearned for dawn, with all their might.

The Dutch empire's shadow, cast a heavy hand,

But seeds of rebellion, were sown in the land.

Sukarno's voice, a thunderclap, a call to rise,

Hatta's wisdom, guiding through hopeful skies.

On August seventeenth, a promise was made,

A nation reborn, where courage prevailed.

With hearts aflame, they fought for liberty's shore,

Against the colonizers, they waged endless war.

From jungles to cities, their spirits did soar,

A symphony of courage, forevermore.

Independence won, a battle hard fought,

But challenges loomed, as victory was sought.

Economic strife, and political strain,

Tested the nation's resolve, again and again.

Yet, from the ashes, a phoenix would soar,

Economic growth, a vision to explore.

Diversity embraced, a cultural blend,

Unity in strength, a nation to defend.

Through trials and triumphs, the journey endures,

A nation evolving, with hopes and with cures.

Corruption's shadow, a blight on the land,

But progress marches on, with a steadfast hand.

The spirit of '45, a beacon of light,

Ignites the soul, with renewed might.

To build a nation, just, fair, and free,

Where every citizen, finds destiny.

With challenges looming, and dreams yet to chase,

Indonesia stands tall, in time's endless race.

A nation of promise, a people united,

In unity's strength, their future ignited.
