Indigo Child

royal blue blood

By Freya JoliPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
Although not connected to poem, I believe it was an important touch for pride month. Pride in being a soulful and sexual being.

Iridescent light,

Shining bright

The aura is seen with such delight.

Is it a fright?

No.

Indigo children dance

With faint laughs, they prance

Forming an elaborate lance.

Give me a chance!

Keep attention

I will show the connection

You and I no different... all under protection

Make the detection...

Indigo childrens’ color

Makes surroundings look duller.

One can discover,

It is a shade...

Interdimensionally made.

Some see hints of jade.

Don’t be afraid

Rejoice in the splendor,

Remember to surrender,

And don’t be a pretender

For you can find,

Although in disguise

It may come to you as surprise,

I am indigo by design

I have your best interest in mind.

Walking through life

Knowing every corner.

Walking through life

Frightened by familiarity

Déjà vu

My best friend

Realizing this body is sacred

Realizing it is not me

Realizing I am no one,

But an indigo child.
