It is not for nothing that I write this verse
Be it less so
T'is a below par contribution
With attribution
Negative
Relatively
Pointless
Much of a muchness
Nothing so grand as a
Bird in the hand
Perhaps
No not even that
Not at all
Just bland
Flat
Without taste
A waste
Of space
Void of all
Meaning
Leaning on the side of
Zilch
Not so much unchained melody
As unrestrained
Malady

I got a lot from the clever yet poignant poem. To me it holds a meaning, that even in emptiness or the meaningless - there is importance. Great job, Ray, in all its zilchiness this is one of the best things I’ve read this week!
Excellent!
I agree with Stephanie below, you made great use of white space and made it work for you. So I guess it definitely wasn't a waste of space after all!
Funny how a poem about nothing can still carry so much rhythm and wit.
Hahahahahaha this made me chuckle. Loved it!
I love your use of white space here. It contributes to the feeling of the poem being “wasted space” and “zilch”. It might just be for fun, but it was still well done for fun.
