In the Depths
The light remains

As light breaks water,
Its path, as well, is altered
In a fair exchange.
*
Lost in the dark depths,
We sense the light is near, but
Too far out of reach.
*
We cannot waste life,
Waiting for it to find us.
Chase the light, my friend!

Marvelous motivational poem!!!❤️❤️💕
A lovely piece, Dana
Love these senryus. We often get misdirected from the light...chasing the wrong things. We shouldn't waste life indeed!
Loved the urge to action and hopefulness of this! Wonderful poem, Dana!
I love how this moves from reflection to a call for courage.
But I don't wanna chase the light 😝😝 Jokes aside, your poem was very uplifting!
Chase the light! Oh I love that Dana!
You said it all : 'Waiting for it to find us. Chase the light, my friend!' ***
