In the Depths

The light remains

As light breaks water,

Its path, as well, is altered

In a fair exchange.

*

Lost in the dark depths,

We sense the light is near, but

Too far out of reach.

*

We cannot waste life,

Waiting for it to find us.

Chase the light, my friend!

    A lovely piece, Dana

  • Love these senryus. We often get misdirected from the light...chasing the wrong things. We shouldn't waste life indeed!
