In Tandem

A friendship blossoms.

walk with her

in the sun's gold mist

grab her hand,

run far from this

*

up a hill

like Jack and Jill

ride the peak,

stop, look and feel

*

turn the page,

what do you see,

a girl a boy

wish upon a hope tree

*

a pure look of awe

has come over them

a rad, new feel

like a cute, warm hymn

*

eyes mix with

a true, soft haze

not one word can pen

this vast, deep gaze

*

The path they see,

and the rare snow dove

are both a good sign

that this must be love

*

Nice Lamar. I'm happy to see a positive and uplifting poem for the challenge without the parmesan cheese all over it.

This is beautiful Lamar, perfectly encapsulates what the bloom of a new relationship can be like. Starting as friends and then onto more. Well done, sir!

This is so sweet. Falling in love, and realizing it, is just like feeling those warm, gold rays of sunshine. Too bad it’s all downhill from there… (kidding). A strong entry for the challenge. ✨

Sweet poem. And great use of the four letter limit. 😎

Well this was sweet. Reminiscent of the days when love was coupled with naive notions of over confidence and zeal, and maybe a bit of lust.

  • 😌 Lamar, "In Tandem" brought back sweet memories for me... my first Kinder stories of Dick & Jane and my first kiss in daylight & sunshine. "In Tandem" is lovely! 💜👏💜
