In My Head

talk about old wounds healing slowly...

By BrenPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

you’re in my head when the sun comes up

you’re still there when it’s long gone

i want to tell your how i feel

but the words are always wrong

i want you to know i really like you

i want you to know i care

and if you could like me a little bit

there’s so much we could share

maybe it’s all in my head

and the reality’s not what it seems

but i know that when i’m lonely

i can see you in my dreams

(i can see you in my dreams)

when i’m alone i think of you

it’s better than any drug

a thousand tomorrow’s for one of your smiles

a millennium for a hug

all these mixed emotions

they’re pulling me part

is it all in my head

or is it in my heart?

I found this going through some old papers this morning dated 1991. Printed in all the glory dot matrix had in the day!

This is sweet, makes me wonder who the special person was who you were thinking about though…hmm.
