In all Things
Tattooed not Merely upon My Arms & Back

Look not upon my arms or back
but within my eyes
& across my face,
through my touch
& tender embrace,
by my deeds
& through my very soul.
In all things,
let me be
a tender grace
to help,
to lift,
to serve
& to do what I can
to make your day a little brighter,
your load a touch lighter.
Should that desire
to comfort & serve
& love & enjoy
be not found in these,
filled with tender grace,
then & only then,
remind me to read
that which is writ
upon my arms
& my back.

This is just beautiful. Well done, sir.
OMG I have that exact same tattoo! 😆 I’ve forgotten the gist of this challenge (I.e the structure) yet the language felt scriptural. Such a great message Randy! Hope you are having a good day.
Absolutely beautiful, Randy 💙
This is beautiful, Randy
Great words. Great image! I don't know if you're able to edit the image but the third line from the bottom says "ouly", not "only". Perfect in the poem, but just showing proud in the tattoo. Hope you don't mind me pointing it out. I'm always grateful to receive pointers towards typos so please feel free to comment if you spot them.
Great words and a perfect illustration for the challenge
