In A Darkness
A Sonnet When Everything seems lost, and you think you are alone
A sonnet for how I and a good friend are feeling at the moment, or maybe it's just me
When Your Inspiration is now Missing
When all around you seems to be darkness
When You Think You will shrink and become less
When you can’t clear your mind and think

When there is nothing on your horizon
When the darkness thickens and then congeals
When pressure is crushing you, you can’t feel
When everything that you loved is now gone
+
When things all seem lost , you must find your hope
When you feel hopeless, please reach out for help
When you feel guilty, drop all those shackles
When you feel lost think you’ll soon be up
When you feel down, then you will get your help
When your friends will help you win your battles
Johnny Cash's "Dark as the Dungeon" seemed an appropriate song to lead this
