he wanted to know if he was unbreakable.

home-grown against impossible odds.

self-made from the hardest situations.

he always overcame the road ahead,

when nothing stayed the same for long.

he both feared and loved the chaos,

the maelstrom which became a home.

a nomadic soul, still searching for...

what he already has and covers up,

smothered with his trauma and triggers.

it goes that way for him. and this...

he gets to love, hate, or feel indifferent for.

he just wants to meet you in the middle,

but doesn't know which roads get there.

could be he didn't mean to take that left

somewhere back in Albuquerque,

but here he is, still hangin in there

by a thread that just won't quit,

a renewable resource left untapped,

burning the bridges behind him.
