Empty Room
When Silence Speaks Louder Than Words
By Luna VaniPublished about 12 hours ago • 1 min read

The clock ticks on, but time feels still,
A hollow echo in the corners of my will.
I reach for you in shadows deep,
But find only memories I cannot keep.
The rain falls soft, yet tears fall faster,
Every heartbeat, a silent disaster.
Your voice lingers in the air I breathe,
A cruel reminder of what I can’t retrieve.
I speak to walls that cannot reply,
And watch the world through tear-stained eyes.
Hope is a candle, flickering low,
In a room where no warmth will grow.
I wander through dreams we’ll never share,
Feeling your absence everywhere.
And though the night may never end,
I learn to survive with grief as my friend.
