I stare all around me, looking for answer
But everywhere I look I see confusion
A kind of sickness like a cancer
That molds the world into corruption

The only time when I seem to find an answer
is in the solace of my home bowing down on my knees
Praying to God to please be my savior
What he promised; the soul he frees

Yet I feel empty sometime, lonely and misunderstood Alone in a world of people, alone with him by my side
I still can't see where Good stood
Across the room, but he's still my ride or die

Because there were times of my life
Where there was no one, but I still got through it
Because someone put an end to my strife
So he had to be there in that painful hit

He had to be there in the illumination
The reminiscent part that comes after
All the pain and all the illusion
He has to come after again
