If you know...

When the light goes out.

I once loved a man you know...

He made me smile, he made me glow,

But you what happens when he does go,

He leaves a wound, colder than snow.

I once loved a man you know,

But after he left I could no longer glow,

I forgot what it was to smile and glow,

In all my life, I've never been so low.

I once loved a man you know,

But now I'm like an echo that doesn't flow,

It disappears, it cannot grow,

For there's no more love to show.

I once loved a man you know,

And no I feel I cannot grow,

I can't move past it, I've felt the blow,

Of love's true sting, and if you know, you know!
