If You Give Your Heart An Ink Pen
Just Eat A Cookie
If you give your heart an ink pen
It will want a piece of paper
to write a song or poem about it’s struggles
If you let it write the words
it will want to make them rhyme
About all the silly ways you got it hurt
If it tells about the moments when you hid it from the world
It will try to justify your why’s and when’s
So be careful when you’re sleepless what you allow your heart to feel
Because, it will tell the world about it with your pen
