The quiet strength of kindness

If words could mend a broken heart,

They’d stitch the cracks, a tender art.

A gentle whisper, soft and true,

Could paint the sky in brighter hues.

If words could soothe a weary soul,

They’d make the wounded spirit whole.

A kind “I’m here,” a simple phrase,

Could light the darkest, longest days.

If words could bridge the deepest divide,

They’d bring the lost back to our side.

A heartfelt plea, “I understand,”

Could turn to peace what once was sand.

If words could heal, then let us try,

To lift the fallen, to dry each eye.

For in the power of what we say,

Lies hope to chase the pain away.
