If I Was His Queen
If he wanted me for his queen
I would hold every broken piece
softly gather all his doubts
and turn them into quiet strength
I would rule without a crown
with kindness as my only law
no need for power or command
just steady hands and open arms
If he wanted me for his queen
I would guard his fragile dreams
keep shadows from creeping close
and light the dark with simple truth
But I am not a queen today
just someone who hopes to be
a shelter in the storm he feels
a calm within the restless sea
If he wanted me for his queen
maybe love would find its way
through all the walls he’s built inside
and stay beyond the longest day
If he wanted me for his queen
I’d burn the stars to light his way
and stand beside him through it all
no fear, no doubt, no price to pay
If he wanted me for his queen
I’d lay my world beneath his feet
not for glory or for show
but because his heart was mine to keep

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

If only. Good job.
💫 This piece is a beautiful blend of vulnerability and quiet strength. The devotion woven into every line feels both timeless and deeply personal. “No fear, no doubt, no price to pay” — that part hit especially hard. You’ve captured what it truly means to love someone selflessly, like a queen without a crown but full of grace. 👑❤️
💔 This poem quietly shatters the heart. The emotional absence of a mother — even when physically present — leaves wounds that words can barely heal. The image of the twins growing up in silence, cared for but untouched by love, is haunting.
