If I'm not mad I am sad
If I'm not sad I am glad
If I'm not glad I am down
If I'm not down I am up
If I'm not up I am tired
If I'm not tired I am energetic
If I'm not energetic I am paralytic (with fear)
If I'm not paralyic I am confident
If I'm not confident I am negative
If I'm not negative I am positive
If I'm not positive I am insane
If I'm not insane I am plain/tame/sane
If I'm not plain/tame/sane I am insane
If I'm not insane I am positive
If I'm not positive I am negative
If I'm not negative I am confident
If I'm not confident I am paralytic (with fear)
If I'm not paralytic I am energetic
If I'm not energetic I am tired
If I'm not tired I am up
If I'm not up I am down
If I'm not down I am glad
If I'm not glad I am sad
If I'm not sad I am mad
What the hell is fair-to-middling again?
What the hell is a happy medium again?
When does this cyclic madness end?
When does this helter-skelter end?

So relatable!
Hehe nice mess around! I love some of these most of all… when we all just kindof wing it with a random line of thought and play 😁
Don't ever change, Paul.
Wheeeeee! I have whiplash! 😁
Sadly, it doesn't end. Sometimes, you would think it's the end. But you're wrong because every ending is a new beginning. Or some shit like that, lol. Loved your poem Sir Paul aka Shakespeare! 🍩🥐
A fun mess around though, I’m sure most of us feel similarly at times! But sometimes ya just wanna get off the spinning rides…
We had a bishop who declared himself to be the extreme center holding everything & everyone together. Turns out, he was only in the center when he got to define it. Once it became clear he wasn't going to get his way, he bolted. Not exactly what you were talking about, but thinking of him certainly makes me feel as you describe above.
Your messing around is brilliant! Def relatable as the other comments say!!!
Whoa! The subtitle matches so well. What are you right now? I’m tired, so I’m not energetic.
If I don't read it twice I'm lost. If I do read it twice I'm found. Hold on. What was I looking for?
Paul, this is so relatable in every way.
Great stuff, Paul! What are you, again? By the way, I know what a happy medium is. She lives 2 houses down and smokes a lot of weed before her sessions.
