If Flowers could Talk

So I have given up on love! I thought a day like this was never meant for me. I really don’t want to harp on your beauty, but this will not hurt me just saying so one more time!

I wanted to send you flowers. Just to say more than hello! I wanted to let you know that I’m here. No, not going to fool myself and even pretend that you are not being offered the world by many men.

Needless to say, I could care less of what they think or what anyone else says! Just want to let you know that getting to know you is a great priority. I’m not here to compete and what you have is no intimidation to me.

I won’t claim to have all my ducks in a row, but I’m constantly trying and what I have is gained by honest living and not by stabbing anyone in the back or burning bridges!

I do what is required and I’m willing to make my dreams come true with you if you give me that chance!

So this is my letter to you! My letter of innocence and my pledge to you that doing well by you would be more than words, for it will be a lifestyle for me!

However, if flowers could tell a story, I would let them do all the work! However, I can tell you a story, but it would mean nothing if you don’t listen! I could show you many things, but if your eyes are focused on something else, you will miss me completely! Tell me what I have to do to get you to see and hear me? If that’s nothing at all, please forgive this brief interruption and enjoy The flowers as if it was a gentle passing of a man giving you a compliment on your putter beauty! Hopefully you will give me a chance to explore your inner beauty!

Now if you read this far, please know that Nashville is not that far by plane! Anything is possible. Just as possible as I am as intentional to you, the distance would not mean a thing if both are willing to try!

I have everything to gain in you because you appear to be a phenomenal woman! What you have to gain from me is something you will have to see on your own. I cannot force anything on you, or tell you what to do in life. I can only tell you what I feel!

So right now, I feel that you should give me a chance and listen to this nice poem I put together just for you!

I saw the sun come up one early calm and cool laid back day! However the day meant nothing until I convinced you to come around my way.

Give me a chance, I will give you a reason to dance forever! Walk with me and I promise to shelter you from the crazy weather!

Give me your hand, and I’ll show you that you’re worth every kiss of land that touches your feet! I’ve been dreaming the past few days of meeting you and that’s far better than any one walking carelessly on the street!

You’re beauty is far greater than water running down rocks on a open stream during a magnificent summer Peru season. Please say yes, so that you can be my everyday reason!
