I was once your lily: white-belled bloom

to lend your valley roots. I grew

beauty in your umbras - I

was nectar to cure gloom.

But your darkness woke

the beast in me;

I bore my

poison

fruit.

    Oh YES Gina! I love this! This should be a top story for sure! I love how you 'turned' the MC's perspective from the innocent and delicate white flower to dark poisonous berries in response to the partner's darkness. Wow!
