Unbridled
A breakup "nonet" love poem

You taught me how to run, unbridled,
with the horses. Untitled love:
your fervor roused my wild mane.
Ethereal on earth
I was - you uncaged
me - then lonely:
a lost bird
(with no)
name.

I am this poem as I read it. Thank you! My hair felt wild and then, I did feel without a name. But then I read it again and my hair was back to being wild, hee!
The threads of nature imagery and the contrast between grounded horses and flying birds - excellent!
A lost bird with no name, that broke my heart so much! Soooo poignant and I loved it!
Such an atmospheric piece!! Great work, Gina!
Perfectly written 👌

Oh, so sad!!
