I Wanted To Find "The One."

I had low self esteem.

I have hunted for "the one."

My soul hungers to be loved.

I want him to caress me,

Make me feel like a woman.

Can I see him in my dreams,

Have him hold me in my arms,

Dance in the moonlight,

And look into my eyes.

I want him to hold my hand,

Kiss my lips so tenderly;

Love me for who I am,

And lift me from my despair.

Boyfriends have come and gone.

They seemed to lust after me.

I have not felt beautiful.

I have not recognized my worth.

I don't want any sex games.

I want lovemaking to be right.

When my light shines through him,

I will have found the "one."
