I Pick Me

For selfishness

I don't make the

Self sacrifice

Play.

I won't give you a minute

Not by night or by day.

I'll just invite

Out my vices to play

And dance with your heart

‘Til you can’t run away

‘Cause if it comes down

To me or to you,

I'm not sure what exactly

You expect me to do

Is there a choice?

I pick me every time

There’s no room for two

In this heart of mine

In fact there's no progress

I can't

Undermine

And I'll still have you thinking

That everything’s fine

It's a slippery slope

Down down down you slide

You won't even know it

‘til you're out of time

‘Cause if it comes down

To me or to you,

I'm not sure what exactly

You think that I'd do

I'll pick me every time

I pick me every time

Is that such a crime?

My money is always on me,

every dime.
