I once loved a Jasmin

a flower that I'll never forget

By Mohamed SakhiriPublished 9 months ago 1 min read
"melancholy" by Edvard Munch, 1891

I think of death

As I lie under the dark blue sky

On the meadow of Jasmin

Inhaling the poison smoke

Of countless cigarettes

The moon wheeps with me

Tears for my loneliness

As I tell him how she left

Carved a shallow hole

Way deep into my chest
