I'm fine

Right?

By Digi Dragon 05 (Or Digi or Revely)Published 6 months ago 1 min read

Slap a smile on your face

And say you're just great

Don't let anybody know

...

I'm not fine

I'm lying

I'm crying

I'm dying on the inside

I'm screaming for help and no one hears

I cover all of my fears

...

Help

...

Please

...

I need someone to listen.

I need someone to hear.

I need someone to understand

All I'm going through here

Help me, please!

Someone please!!

...

Slap a smile on your face.

And say you're just great.

Don't let anybody know.

...

A mother who thinks she tries her best

A father who doesn't listen or care

A brother who's embarrassed by his family

Two sisters who care only for themselves

...

And me

...

I can be lazy

I can mean

I can be crazy

And I can be cruel

...

But I don't want to be

But I need help

I can't do this on my own

I really need help-

...

From someone who cares

Someone who listens

Someone who understands

Someone who won't treat me like I'm dumb

And really try to help

...

Someone to love me truly, and not only when it suits them

...

Slap a smile on your face.

And say you're just great.

Don't let anybody know.

...

I'm alive, and that's good.

I have God, and that's good.

I have a roof over my head

And clothes and toys and pets and games

...

And that's good

Maybe

Just maybe

If I focus on the good

And know God has a purpose for all these trials

And all this pain and suffering

...

I can fake this smile a little longer

Till I can truly say

...

I'm fine

Your self introspection and reaching out were profoundly expressed. I hear your heart. May writing help you through inner conflict as it does so many of us. Well done.
