I have never wanted to write less

Knowing it falls on deaf ears

That those who’ll read just feed the machine

And post faux pas comments about giving a shit for those in need

But your ass is still in parked gear

Waiting for a shift that’ll hopefully come from someone else

Always waiting for the bandwagon to pass before you remember to even jump on it

It’s pathetic really

How this shit is still going on and you’re still talking about Hitler and Stalin

They’re dead.

You can’t change the past

But you can impact the present

Because people are dying now.

Now.

Now.

Now.

Now.

Still now.

Every word is an etched gravestone message for another starving being.

In the Congo.

Sudan.

Palestine.

The States.

Inuit Nunangaat.

France.

Cambodia.

Korea.

Australia.

Everywhere tainted with the stench of colonization

Because that’s the point of it.

The stench and stain of systematic death.

Survival of the whitest, don’t ya know? The richest? The thickest?

And we sit on our fat buns spouting facts about history while the present is slaughtered on Live Feeds that never fill any bellies.

But please, go on, play the game and follow the rules

Because the game makers obviously have your best interest at heart, (duh)

But you already read that book and watched that movie

And don’t worry, you’ll be the next tribute

Wait long enough and you’ll see

I got goosebumps reading your story. It's so much more than sad what is happening in 2025. I feel you. I don't understand how the powers that be stand by watching people get murdered and more genocide created every day by disgusting people who to me are not human. They are blood thirsty animals. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

To watch a crime happen and do nothing is the worst. Well done for writing this Oneg. It is so prevalent and important. Art is political!

Complacency is evil too, sitting aside saying nothing while evil is being done is just as bad. Excellent piece, friend, hard hitting and truthful

We are collectively mentally ill, some psychotic, some delusional, and some disassociated….some of of us still screaming into the abyss…it is working though..ita is crumbling in front of our eyes. Thank you for your voice Oneg!

This. All of this. I am so sick of harassing our senators and representatives. It does nothing. These little "protests" are doing nothing. It's time, at least in the states, for a revolution. Mass people in the streets. Anyway, too easy to get going on this. This piece says so much. And is spot on.

Tough read because it points out so many of our human flaws. I'm glad you had the balls to pen it and put it out there!

At first I thought you were bashing vocal creators responding in the comments being false (And this may be true in part) then it took an approach that seemed to single out an individual ....THEN it included a wider group, any one who turns a blind eye, follows without persoinal thought. Not sure if this is what you were goign for but it is how I read it. I only know that it effected me.

Hamas taking the drop aid supply from the Palestinians in need. I never thought I see this kind of things happening. Trump putting Tariff and prices are just going up. Where is the money for all these Tariff going because most government program is being defunded. I never put my hope on people. All we can do is try and donate to good causes. I stopped making sense whats going on. CONGRESS SEEM PARALYZED 🤔

  • Man, this is REAL; damn straight people think it's someone else, but it is usn in the now who must act. Watching genocide okayed by the people for the people on GAZA is insane: in colour or black and white people ae starving who weren't before and we can't fix it. That scares me the most. I feel small. All the philosophising in the world with "like-minded souls doesn't end this brutal reality.
