i could never do it
so i was given no choice
lifeless in my arms
like they KNEW it
would be the end of me
when everything went up in flames
right then and there
in your soul’s sacrifice
your final gift
being my entire future
rising from the ashes
of our last goodbye
without you ?
i have to do it without you now ?
one final question - i know we don’t have long
what about , stay here forever-
right here- where you belong ?
an addendum here is i was wrong
i’ll see you now in other forms
you’re in my heart - you are never all the way gone
