“Our words have power.
But our actions shape our lives.”
Words can inspire nations,
heal the mind
and even make friendships.
Actions
really can ‘change our lives’ for the better.
It is true,
the ‘thought’ starts in the mind
but it is ‘the putting it into action’
which will affect our lives and the lives of others.
When we promise something
and then ‘do it’ or ‘put it into action’,
people will know
that we can be believed and trusted.
Words alone are not always enough.
“Actions”
are needed
to bring the point home.
A student does a lot of studying, reading and talking
during their seminars at university,
but it is only when they put into practice
all that they have learnt,
that he or she becomes qualified.
Words are important
but
actions ‘speak’ louder.

This Is What I Do When People Throw Rocks At Me
Rocks have been thrown at me for a greater part of my life. Some have been small and missed hitting me. When people don't get a reaction from me, they throw bigger rocks with a better aim. Many have been hurled at me with precision over the years. For a long time, I thought my only options were to dodge them or be crushed by them.
