I Feel I Am Going to Sin

Forgive me my heart for I have sinned

I Feel I Am Going to Sin

A shadow dances on the edge of light,

A whisper tempts in the dead of night.

The weight of choice hangs heavy within

I feel, I fear, I’m going to sin.

The heart it battles, the mind it sways,

Two voices pulling in divergent ways.

The lure is sweet, the moment thin,

A fleeting taste of what might begin.

The mirror reflects what I cannot hide,

The war of the soul, the rising tide.

But in this storm, can grace still win,

Or am I lost to the pull of sin?

Yet even in darkness, a spark remains,

A voice that calls through guilt and chains.

The path is mine, though fraught and grim,

To rise above or sink within.

I decided yes—I will kiss in bliss,

And tomorrow take the regrets for this.♥️
