I Do Not Fall Lightly Into This Conversation Of Stars
A poem

Do not find me
If you think love
should never be terrifying and
bloodless and
strange.
I do not fall lightly
into this conversation of stars.
I do not creep neatly into the cracks
with buttoned up dreams
and stitched up desires.
Do not need me
if you think I am easy
to find.
Most days I do not live in my skin.
Pluck me from my dreams
and you will find me not from here.
Do not follow me
if you think love is weightless
and bearable
and prefers simple truths
to the mad reckoning of brilliant lies.
