I Am Proud Of Me
From No One to Someone
I come from true stories of pain from
A past that would have been enough
to break even the toughest of people.
I come from being kicked about, like
a ragdoll; used and abused, thrown,
like a torn rag.
Today;
Yes, today,
I stand tall after everything I have been through,
Now a proud author and a soon-to be-singer,
Who burst through the walls where tears flowed,
That nobody could see,
Into a world full of dreams and creativity;
A world where I had always wanted to be.
From no one to someone;
A person who dances with full strength, integrity,
Individuality, and her own personality.
I am proud of me.
