I Am
Recovering Love Addict
I have to find a way to love me,
so, it’s kind of hard, to let you in.
The scar I tend, says, hide the key,
pain now the cusp, of who I am.
*
An open door, to let love show me,
and you, a warm hug on my step.
The gift of love, in my time of need,
to find the me, that time has kept.

Wondering how to unlock yourself and your feelings.
Oooo, I love how the scar asks to hide the key! Brilliant!
May your scars heal over such that you can no longer find them, the hugs be ever present for you, may you find yourself & be found.
