I Am

I have to find a way to love me,

so, it’s kind of hard, to let you in.

The scar I tend, says, hide the key,

pain now the cusp, of who I am.

*

An open door, to let love show me,

and you, a warm hug on my step.

The gift of love, in my time of need,

to find the me, that time has kept.

Wondering how to unlock yourself and your feelings.

  • Oooo, I love how the scar asks to hide the key! Brilliant!

  • May your scars heal over such that you can no longer find them, the hugs be ever present for you, may you find yourself & be found.
