the Demons, & Devils, & quirky Centipedes
cage my rebellious ramblings
editing out the ___ stuff
breaking my indeterminant spine
evicting my slime-powered heart
worming through my eyes
👁️🧠 👁️
into my mind
making me wonder if this goddamn snow will ever melt
or if the...
if the drama has been overfed🍴
on chaos & saturated meats 😋
diabolical caffeine dredges me out of that
dark safe space
back across every bright blithe battlefield
throwing me out like a __lightning strike_______ ⚡
by means a double-decker now-or-then bus
transporting slivers of collected consciousness
under the desserts of starvation
on a trip supposedly including honey mustard dipping sauce
not flaming hot habanero
that makes me break out in barbeque binbōgami icicles
causing me to want MORE
and more

I like how this was more of an inward poem. How free you were while writing it, shows through especially in this line, 'the demon and devils and quirky centipedes'. This might very well be my favourite line. Wait a minute. 'slime powered heart' I think I got another favourite line. Loving the effect the pause gave for that image. 'Bright blithe battlefield'. I know you for your humour but I am really loving you for your poetry in this one. That line right there is my third favourite. Descending into food type metaphors was a fantastic drift. The bit below, 'all abroad' I love it. It's the perfect chaos with all those emojis. Fantastic work👌🏾👏🏾🤗❤️
