Hunter's Moon
The darker the moon, The deeper the spell

The size of the moon tells many tales
The fuller the moon
The deeper the spell
A lover's spat heard round the world
As a life is take all too soon
Cries in the dark
Lit up only by the hunter's moon
An innocent child orphaned while he sleeps
Dreaming of things that he will never see
As the home he knows is no longer a safe place to be
Lusting for the hunt
Drawn to the spell
The size of the moon tells many tales
One minute past the hour when the thought crossed his mind
Giving him a reason to present his nine
Not expecting to pull the trigger
He just wants this to be a night that she will remember
But the thoughts turn his madness into a burning rage
Determined to make her see things his way
If only she would listen
No one would have to died today
But her minds made up
Nothings that he's done will make her stay
A lover's spat heard round the world
As blood is spilled
Screams are heard
The call of the wild calms his heart
As soon as he realizes the evil he's done
He presses the barrel to his temple
And allows his finger to pull the trigger
An innocent child orphaned as he sleeps
Only to be awakened by his mother's screams
Then silence and disbelief that the parents
"I loved will no longer be with me"
The hunter's moon circled in blood
Creating the spell
That the size of the moon tells so well
The fuller the moon the deeper the tale
Lusting for the hunt
Drawn to the spell
A life taken all too soon
Lit up only by the hunter's moon!
