I am only human
but my biggest struggle is that I don’t see things for what they truly are
I constantly convince myself to see things for the way that I want them to be
I just want love and I see that in everything because I’m so obsessed with being happy
that even on my darkest days I try to find a light
even when I’m trapped in a room I try to find a door
when I want love I see it in everything even when it isn’t even there
but i am only human with many many flaws

Dream Log #9
This was a dream from last which I think was triggered by bumping into somebody I used to work with. She has retired from the care home I used to work with. I feel a bit too exhausted to try and make this short dream to make it over the 600 word count requirement from Vocal, so I will convert it into a poem so it will will automatically pass the filter and I feel like writing a poem because the imagery felt nostalgic and daunting at the same time.
