Howling For You
I need and want your love, body & soul

Howling For You
I am howling for you.
My voice raw as an open wound,
tearing through the quiet night
like teeth against silk.
Your body,
a shadow I cannot hold,
a fever I cannot break.
I see you in every dark corner,
feel you in the cold bite of the air.
Love?
No, this is something older,
something hungrier,
a whisper that claws at my throat,
a need that drips from my mouth
like blood.
I am the echo beneath your ribs,
a rasp that scrapes bone and marrow.
I am cursed to chase the taste of you
through every dark cold place you go.
Your absence is a wound unclosing,
A love that gnaws and gnaws.
With each breath a need to touch.
each step a little bit closer to your bed.
Still, I want, need have to have you.
Your like my love untamed,
driven not by hope,
Driven by the ache of desire.
of never having enough of you.
I am hunger that sleeps with open eyes,
the ache that coils beneath my tongue,
calling your name like a spell
that will not break.
The night offers no mercy
only the moon and the silence
where your shadow should be,
You know you need me too.
Run if you want,
I will follow,
I want every bit of you.
I am howling for you.
