Questions into silence.

Open-ended.

Questions into silence.

When you look into my eyes, do you see your reflection?

When you stare at a mirror, is it man-made perception?

Have you felt sorrow not for yourself?

Has your heart broken for somebody else?

Do you know, deep down, truly who you are?

Does this question hit boundaries and reach too far?

Are you the person you want others to see?

Are you the person you think you could be?

Who is the person you refer to as me?

Have you ever knowingly paved fractured connections?

Have you untangled your moral deflections?

Have you read this far and felt a need to defend?

Is this where you want my questions to end?

Do you hear me when I speak?

Have you already held the desires you seek?

Do you know the answers to this?

Does your mind reject my need to persist?

Do you believe you have a soul?

Have you ever truly felt whole?

Do these questions linger when you turn away?

Perhaps, you are the reason they stay.

Not poetry for answers,

But poetry for breath,

For noticing,

And choosing to live from the inside out.
