There are things in this world beyond my belief.
A million and one images to horde away grief.
The excitement they bring and the delight they ensure.
I doubt another realm could be as pure.
How is this not heaven?
Take nature, for example, a great place to start.
The colours, the sounds in every single part.
A beautiful scene to inspire every muse.
An endless array of artistry for us to use.
How is this not heaven?
The foods we make or are naturally grown.
Sensations in our mouths that have our minds blown.
Different flavours for our taste buds to explore.
It is no wonder that we always want more.
How is this not heaven?
A loving person to share your life with.
To create the happiest of memories is such a gift.
Laughing, crying, and orgasming as one.
We always help each other not to run.
How is this not heaven?

Wild Card Weekend Recap: What Happens Now?
I think I figured out why I love Wild Card Weekend so much. It's because it's the first playoff anything of the calendar year. The NFL season starts in the fall, and once upon a time, the champion was crowned either on or slightly before New Year's. The evolution of the NFL schedule has resulted in the playoffs starting just into the New Year, and currently, the final week of the season falls on the first weekend of the New Year, with Wild Card Weekend coming a week after that. So yes, chronologically, the NFL's Wild Card Weekend serves as the first playoff anything of the calendar year.
