strawberry lemon strawberries lemons

sipping cups of hot tea on a hot day

hot tea hot day hots teas hots days

u know it doesn’t matter, wanting

u wanting language that’s all it was

wanting u wantings us the words

just say them again, strawberry lemon

strawberry strawberry lemon, see

they don’t mean as much

in my mouth my mouths

saying them on a hot day

hot days saying them

strawberry lemon

strawberry straw-

berry lemon sip

sip sips sips sip

the words

since when was saying them out loud enough

nothing is nothing is lemons and wanting

the words yellow & yellow & yellow

i’m not going to say the unsayable

u don’t deserve it & idk how

to say yellow & yellow louder

the seeds on the skin

are enough nothing

since when nothing

in my mouth i say

nothing
