Two arms and a heart beat

By Julie DavisonPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Home is filled with laughter and tight hugs when you come in the door. It’s a child’s laughter, silly questions, and then asking you to sit down and play with them. Home is so much more than four walls and a foundation. It’s heart beats and warm smiles. It’s echoes of laughter and the jokes you share with family and friends. Home can be found in the gentle souls around you that have nothing but kindness and love to give. You can have many homes in your lifetime but nothing is so profound than finding a home within souls you connect with throughout life. Home to me is anyone you can be your most authentic self around and will love you through your good and bad days. I am fortunate enough to have a house but even more fortunate to have found many homes in all of those I love and cherish and who love and cherish me.
