"Home"

They say "Home is where the heart is",

Well I find that to be beyond true.

You may not know this,

But "Home" simply doesn't exist without you.

You provide that feeling of comfort & hope,

But more importantly that sensation of peace.

Even when the world outside makes me feel like I'm walking on a thin rope,

You have this blissful way of centering me, to say the least.

You touch my heart & spark my brain in ways that I never knew was possible,

So not a day goes by where I am not thankful & grateful for you in everyway.

I grew up in a broken home so this was all once unimaginable,

I'm just so lucky to be able to find what I been missing for so long so I truly hope that you are here to stay.

I know I don't say this enough but thank you for being kind & so patient,

You definitely taught me that no man isn't made to stand alone.

The world can be so cold & harsh that sometimes all it only leaves me to feel is resentment,

But no matter what place we are in you take it all away as soon as I see your smile that warms my frozen heart & instantly I am just happy to be at Home.
