Holiday Magic

An ode to the holidays

After the Halloween candy is finished consuming the town.

The Christmas trees start to rise and are blooming around.

It’s time to pack your bags so the family can get away.

I wonder what Grammy cooked for Thanksgiving day?

A lot of food. Way too many to choose from.

So many presents under the tree I can’t just choose one.

I take a good look around at all the pumpkins and turkeys.

Now I’m wondering if my stomach is worthy.

So much to eat for the season, yet the food still got away.

I gotta say I’m thankful for this magic of the holidays.
