Small Ideas Put Together To Reach Required Word Count

Dappling

The space between

Is where I exist

Even a stunted tree

Reaches for the light

So says my favourite author

The only place I feel safe

Is alone in the woods

Children suffer

Become adults (if lucky)

Paying the price

Maybe if I paint my nails

The colour will comfort me

Moderation

What to keep

Sacred and silent

A necessary, infernal quandary

For an open nature

Wishing to share everything

My lunch

My fears

Afternoon

I thought I could sing

Until I dropped the volume

So I turned it up

Midnight

Driving me away

His snoring shakes the whole house

I still love him though

Soap

At a kids birthday party

Contemplating the nature of existence

Drowning in ecstasy over particle entanglement theory

While I load the dishwasher

Gazing at the mountains

Thinking nothing

It feels wonderful
