Do you see a shark breaching?
Angular and white under jaw
Her body weightless
Or a dock, dilapidated and part of the sea
Disappearing off the page
I see a storm, distant wiry light
Yellowed and brooding
I feel the waves the artist drew
Without drawing waves at all
The gentle wondering fronds
Of seaweed forests
I see the things that have no proof
That exist in coincidence and dreams
A mother tongue with no translation
They speak as loud as silences
Between two people
Whose love is as inseparate as pastel colours
Hidden in the abstract
About the Creator
Elsa Michaela | @surfthought
When you hear a song
One that stops you in your tracks
That seems spoken from your own mind
Do you listen and listen again?
Follow its streams until a tide,
Inside you
Rushes to fill in the small hollow parts
…Yeah, me too
