Hey, Listen—This Time, Fight
A Poem About Fighting for Yourself

Hey, don’t let the evil things distract you, okay?
If they do, they’ll pin the blame on you—always.
They’ll act like it was your fault, like you failed,
Even when you were just trying to stay brave.
And one thing—don’t waste time being too polite.
If you need to fight, then fight.
Don’t let their words shape your path,
Don’t let their thinking decide your life.
If you stay silent, they’ll walk all over you,
And at the end, all you’ll get is blame.
They won’t see the battles you fought for them,
They’ll just point fingers, say your name.
So this time, be a little selfish for your dreams.
This time, don’t step back, don’t break, don’t freeze.
Stay tuned, stay strong, stay true.
Because if you don’t fight for yourself—who will?

wow... I see all your poems have it! love your style!
The repetition of “fight” throughout the poem adds such a sense of determination, almost like a rallying cry for those who may have been too hesitant or afraid to act. The energy is both motivating and cathartic, reminding the reader of the power they hold within. Thank you for sharing such a fierce and empowering piece. I look forward to reading more of your work and seeing where your words take us next!
