Careful Reminders

Rapid precision

As a decision is made in the dark

A stark reminder not to take anything for granted

To enjoy the moment

And do your best to look at what matters

Tatters in the day

Each message trying to convey

A situation that makes your heart hurt

Meditation in the works

Heart bursts

Mind is tired

Energy expired

After an overwhelming tornado of events

Deep breath

In your chest

Count

One through ten

And face the reality all over again

Put on a brave face

Keep a good pace

But in your eyes pain can reveal

To those that feel

The need to look

Slightly shook

By the hook of constant emotion

Trying to deal with the commotion

And trying to avoid those that understand the impact

While trying to keep yourself intact
