When I first saw her

I felt my whole body buzz

My my hands

To my knees

To my toes

My stomach turned

Her eyes left me breathless

Her laugh made me make a silly face

Her smile made me smile

Her hair was as brown as chocolate

Her fashion choices were strangely cute

From a pink shirt with pom-poms to shark shoes

Her hand waiting expectantly

I grabbed it

We ran and ran

Until we were at the edge

A single tear flowed down her face

“I love you”

Then she jumped
