My whole body feels heavy
My feet are dragging
My arms are covered in scrapes and blood
As they drag against the rough ground
As I fill my head with heavy thoughts
“Ugly”
“Fat”
“Dumb”
I can’t take it much longer
It was so sudden
I didn’t even see it
I start to fall
Fall
Falling
I shut my eyes
I am ready
I lived a good life
*Thump*
I lookup
Two sparkling eyes staring back at me
They smile
Hug me
And whisper
“I love you, you are loved”
I feel lighter
The heavy words disintegrate and float up
My wounds start to heal
My heart starts to heal
New thoughts enter my mind
“You’re beautiful”
“You’re smart”
“Own your body”
I smile
I look around for those eyes
I can’t see them
But I can feel them
Always looking out for me
