What does it feel like to be a woman?

Feels like men want me to change my name to slut because apparently I dress like one, and if you dress like one you’re asking for it

Feels like constantly told to wear a skirt because ladies don’t wear pants

I kinda find it ironic that America's symbol of liberty is a woman, but we’re constantly verbally, and physically abused, cat called and cussed at.

Feels like female body types should look like the American male's preference; all of a sudden big beautiful women are acceptable, like we've only been telling you this forever

Feels like getting paid less because women can’t do half the labor men can anyway

This is what it feels like to be a black woman

Feels like constantly having to wrap up my hair because apparently my naps is offensive

Feels like work harder, be smarter because my skin

Feels like they expect you to translate every slang word that comes from Brown lips.

Feels like they tryna snatch my crown off my head; sorry to inform you but one size doesn't fit all. I was born with this crown, and I’ll die with it still on my head

don't forget that the same black woman you belittle has taught your children to read, don't forget mammy was the one that nursed you and your children back to health. Don't forget that she lead us to freedom.

Yea we took the apple but you were dumb enough to take the bite
