Heaven’s Quiet Seat
In peace she rests for ever more

Heaven’s Quiet Seat
Beneath the arch the heavens part
a seam of light strikes through the heart
the clouds roll back with thundered grace
to crown her stillness in that place
The doves descend with gentle wing
no choir, no hymn, no church bells sing
yet silence holds a greater prayer
than any echo placed in air
The dress she wears, a river white
flows endless in the morning light
she waits, she listens, she is known
by heaven’s breath, by sky alone
The flowers bend, the shadows lean
to guard the woman dressed as queen
yet no command, no earthly throne
just one who waits and sits alone
The sun has cut a single line
between the mortal and divine
and through it all, she does not move
her faith is quiet, her strength her proof
Her hands are folded, lips are still
her heart has bent to higher will
the archway frames the sky apart
and heaven rests upon her heart.

Just beautiful and a breath of heaven sent. Good job.
